Evening Dances:
Friday and Saturday night we are pleased to have Fat Babies in from Chicago. That means TWO nights of live music. See the schedule below for details.

Note that Saturday is a charity dance, so instead of collecting dollars, we will be collecting canned food. Even if you’ve registered for the weekend, please show your support for the local foodbank and your appreciation of Fat Babies by bringing food to share with those less fortunate. (We will also accept cash donations—all of the money collected Saturday night will go to Hoosier Hills Food Bank).

Tracks:
To bring you as much of the amazing Midwest as we can, there will be two tracks of fabulous instruction. Read the following track descriptions to help you choose!

Track 1:
In track 1, our instructors will teach you how to swing out and Charleston like you haven’t before. If you have been dancing for a few semesters and are working on your fundamentals, strengthen your lead or follow, or you want return to the basics and learn from different instructors, track on is for you! Your instructors are well known for their ability to introduce you to a whole new level of dance. Come one, come all and merrily, I say, dance!

Track 2:
Track 2 is not for the faint of heart. Instructors in Track 2 have been given free range to introduce you to new material, push your ability to communicate in partnership and even make you play while you dance. If you have the mechanics but want to really push yourself, Track 2 is the place to be! Your stupendous instructors will guide you through two days of adventures, so hold on for the ride!

Note: if you are a member of IU Swing Dance Club and are unsure of which track to take, see one of your instructors from this semester! Shannon, Linnea, Joseph, or Crystal can help you figure out where to go.

Will Dance For Food! (Charity Dance for the Hoosier Hills Food Bank)

Saturday, Oct 20th with the Fat Babies Jazz Band!

Cost: The Dance on Saturday Night is a Community Service dance. Please bring a can of food for a non-perishable food item for admission. All food items will be donated to the Hoosier Hills Foor Bank.

Time: 8:30pm-Midnight

The easiest way to get to the room is to go to the back door, inbetween the HPER building and the Art Museum. It is right across from the big red dumpsters.

Parking in all University garages is free from 6:00 PM Friday until 7:00 AM Monday. This does not include IMU Paid Lot No. 1 and IMU Paid Lot No. 2. The closest is Jordan and 11th&Fee parking garages.
